Smart simplicity
The house was conceived as open habitable spaces.
The social area completely integrates its diverse uses (living/dining/kitchen/terrace) and also integrates itself with the exterior.
The master bedroom, with a wonderful sea view, has an en-suite bathroom.
The materials chosen have a rustic quality (wood, stone, brown-grey natural colours) in order to reinforce the relationship between users and nature.
The villa has a lower terrace with living, dining, BBQ, pool and resting areas and an upper terrace with a solarium.

Quattro piani, quattro differenti relazioni con lo spazio esterno.
Al Piano terra il portico filtra lo spazio privato dalla strada pubblica.
Al primo piano l'appartamento principale con un giardino segreto sul retro del fabbricato.
Un secondo appartamento conserva una disposizione planimetrica più classica con l'affaccio sulla strada principale.
La mansarda, racchiusa su sè stessa, apre su un grande centrale libero e luminoso.
Casa del teatro

Il passato di questa dimora, con il suo cuore di pietra, con gli archi rampanti, con le finestre che fendono le spesse mura, è rimasto impresso sulle pareti. Il progetto ha conservato intatta l’anima della casa con l’insieme arioso di vuoti e di pieni. Un grande vuoto si apre nella parete fra soggiorno e camera da letto creando una inattesa introspezione fra i due ambienti.
La zona living è illuminata da un alto balcone che si affaccia sui vicoli del centro storico.
Un piccolo disimpegno conduce alla camera da letto ed al bagno. La parete di fondo di questo spazio è stata colorata di turchese ed è stata realizzata una piccola panca con appendiabiti.
L’appartamento è arredato con pezzi collezionati dalla padrona di casa mettendo a confronto pezzi di design, di arte contemporanea, ceramiche locali, manufatti etnici e mobili classici in un mix di accostamenti inediti.

In the blue - "Giu al Mulino" Suite
The space of an ancient watermill have been transformed. This ancient building is situated in Faiano on a hill that overlooks the plain of Salerno and the Mediterranean sea in the distance.
The project involved the restyling of the suite located on the mansard floor of the villa. The result combines color and art and it is my personal tribute to the beauty of color and the power of simplicity. The colors (blue, white and turquoise) reflect the bright tones of the landscape for a room suspended between earth and sky. The space is simple and comfortable with the white painted wooden beams, the bed area and the table near the large balcony.
A plasterboard wall creates the space for an open wardrobe and hides a led strip that follows the inclined beam and illuminates the turquoise console made by old wooden furniture.
Art is the true protagonist: a painting by Bartolomeo Gatto is set on the bed set the tone for the entire room.
Outside the room, on a small loft, there is a comfortable corner bookshelf.

One house, many stories
One house, many stories. Stories suggested by objects and by furniture that have found a place after the renovation. Each object links to a particular historical period, a family person, a trip. Some furniture has been restored, while others have been painted to match the new mood of the house.

The apartment, with an area of about 70 square meters, is in Salerno, in a building not far from the sea. The project has defined a new layout creating the space for a large living area with an open kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a small laundry room.
The rooms are clear and bright, with a basic monochromatic scheme and blue in different shades. In the kitchen the De Maio tiles were chosen, typical of the Vietri tradition. The result is a relaxing space with a bright Mediterranean atmosphere.

The entrance hall is a soaring space that set the tone for the interiors.
The spaces are infused with a modern updated look that result both functional and warm.

A sequence of rooms with high painted ceilings and ceramic tiles.
The placement of the stair is a dramatic alteration to the home's traditional layout.

This little apartment of 80 sqm includes a living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a laundry room.
White finishes provide great brightness, achieving a space expander effect, and vivid colorful touches are added to bathrooms.
Timeless luxury
Two-room living is the heart of this home. A white wooden boiserie set the mode and a custom bookcase anchor the space and serve as a focal point.
